I went to see the new Al Pacino and John Leguizamo film last night, Righteous Kill. Oh I love John Leguizamo. He talks real fast and sometimes in Spanish. He was quite beautiful in it. Al Pacino was also there being beautiful. More beautiful than Robert De Niro. But I didn't think overall it was a great film.

I also saw some trailers. Max Payne looks amazing. If a bit confusing.

If I could afford it, I would buy everything from Threadless.

If not I would buy everything I could afford from Lucy Art.

If not, I would buy everything I could afford from Shanalogic.

If not, I would buy a sculpture from Walter Awlson. Specifically, the one on page 7 called Lauren. Or the Fallen Angel one. Or Emma. Whatevs.

But I can't, really.

Today I went to my landlords about the bills for the 'flat above' the shop next to me, which keep getting passed back through to us. Hopefully, they're actually going to get sorted out at some point.

The flat inspection is actually next Tuesday. Which I found out when I found the letter while tidying the flat.

I had a sort of star-studded dream last night. Shia LeBeouf was definitely there, as well as John Lithgow and Christian Slater, briefly. I can't remember most of it, but some of it was definitely a new version of the Incredible Hulk. He was fighting some ooze. John Lithgow was the ooze in human form. And it all got a bit slashy towards the end.

Speaking of star-studded, I don't think I talked about trailers last week. I went to see two films on Tuesday, the Dark Knight (again), because work was a bit stressful and I thought a dose of Decent Film would cheer me up, and Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, because I noticed they were showing it two weeks in advance for one day only. I saw many trailers. Burn After Reading, the new Coen brothers one, was one of them, and dude. There's not a person in that that's not a star, is there? It didn't give you much idea what it was about though. A Total Film article on it a few months ago said it was a monster movie, I think. I'm not entirely sure. Also, there's going to be another Will Ferrell movie out soon. I've not heard much about it, but it's bringing back the winning pairing of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly from Talladega Nights, so I'm assuming it'll be half-decent. And it's nice of them to put Al Pacino and Robert De Niro together in another film, since I never got round to seeing Heat. It's very nice of them to put them together in a film with John Leguizamo. I might be able to slash him with someone. That would be grand.

And now I need to go have a shower. Dang.

Sadie King's voice is haunting me. In that, Patsy Kensit is suddenly doing adverts for Meadowhall. I would mock her for the excessive nature of her selling out, except that it involves her saying the line "the land of shopportunity". And I think that's punishment enough.

In other news, trailers for kid's films nowadays scare and confuse me. And I don't understand how most of the films came to be. Especially Garfield 2. But I am somewhat intrigued by the one about the mermaid who comes to land looking for love, which at some points entails her giggly human best friends jumping in the bath with her. And them having 'omg you're my best friend' moments in a tent in a storm for some reason. I am look on with awe.

Ice Age 2, however, was quite good :) And I still love Sid! And somewhat put this down to John Leguizamo (of ruthless zombie hunter and my icon fame) doing his voice, albeit it with an odd lisp. Diego loves him really. I always knew it.

ETA: Is there any Snape/Blackadder slash?

It seems like there ought to be.
