girlofprey: (Lost Don't Know Can't Math)
I can't believe they did a whole section on last night's It Takes Two about how Mark was too gentle for the tango and couldn't really get into the character, when they'd just the night before showed him and Hayley dancing and said how he had the right look, and you could totally tell it was a tango even without the music, which was good. I like Mark. He seems like quite a lovely person. I hope he doesn't go out this week.

Also, Hayley was training in her shorts. I love her!

I also saw tonight's It Takes Two. Len was a bit rubbish, but then he called Craig a "stupid boy". That was quite good. And made up for a lot of things.

Austin and Erin are very good as well. I hope his back doesn't cause him too much trouble.

I don't think I explained very well about Toby last week. This is a summary of his first day on Casualty, set to a truly inspired choice of soundtrack. I saw it, and loved him. I hope he gets an onscreen boyfriend. Preferably soon.

In other news, the Goose Fair's back in town. My parents are coming down tomorrow with my nephew and we're going tomorrow evening. It seems like a good time for a poll.

A poll.

ETA: Okay, the poll refers mostly I suppose to pov-heavy fics, like vignettes. Or...yes. Damn you, [livejournal.com profile] jekesta.

Reviewing my poll, it is clear that you are all ethically challenged, and think I'm crazy. Hence, I am leaving Livejournal forever!

In a while.

This morning I was watched the episode of Malcolm in the Middle (thank you Sky One!) where Francis is hitchhiking to Alaska unsuccessfully in the freezing cold, and when he finally gets a ride the truck driver points out that he pretty much HAS to do whatever the driver tells him, or he'll have to go back out hitchhiking again.

Why isn't there more slash for this fandom? ::shakes head omg::

Fannish waffling )

Fannishness aside, I worked at the Charity Shop again for a few hours. And I've learned I hate customers. Deeply. Why can they not put clothes back where they find them? The right way around? And, y'know, ON the hangers. I mean, it's not like there are sharks in the way, is it? It's not like they have to make a choice between putting the clothes back properly or saving a loved one in peril. I might make a list of 10 Things, like Jekesta. And put it up in the shop.

Growl. I think I'm channelling Bernard Black a bit. Hurrah!
