Hustle (and Fl-) and Green Wing fandom

Go me.
I watched the Hustle recording again, and was shocked and ashamed to find myself slightly fancying the evil journalist guy. Well, not that shocked. He did seem to have some moral backbone, in the scene with his boss, although that might just have been to show how horrible his boss was. But mostly he was just clever and ballsy and, yes, a creep, and apparently that's what I like sometimes. I want to read spin-off fic about the seedy underworld of London journalism, possibly with him running into Danny again and casually offering gay sex as a way to pass the time. Or, if he knows they're con artists, tracking them down sneakily and slimily and taking pictures (it's not like they move around a whole lot, is it?). Anyway. Danny has a subdued character this week, which should please
hestia8, and there was a general plethora of sexy specs all round. Hurrah.
(Also, I love the fact that this week their victim was not just a friend of Stacey's, but a childhood friend who ran her own charity (helping children, of course). And that their 'mark' actually sat alone in his office cackling evilly to himself. I love you, Hustle :D )
Meanwhile, in Green Wing, outside of the spats it seems to be causing my beloved flist, people on the comm seem to be more and more loving Guy and supporting Guy/Mac. Which is lovely. Well - it's always a bit weird when people (people you don't know) suddenly join what you'd resigned to being a Fandom of One. Especially when their main contribution seems to be 'omg, so HOT!!!' But if they start writing Guy/Mac fic, I won't be complaining!
I'm attempting fic myself, actually. If all goes to plan, it should have an extra helping of Emotionally Fucked-Up Mac, and No Sex. And there might be a companion Caroline/Angela piece. With sex. I don't know.
