Eeeeeeeeee!!!!! The Craig/John Wade!!! Have decided now that Monaghan is not a slash-object for Craig, but rather a father-figure, who may or may not be looking for someone to 'give him away' to, which would almost certainly be Locke, being an intelligent, respectful boy with good prospects. Locke was in fact spending most of the episodes trying to get his share of action from both ends of the Wade-Craig spectrum (taking him out to dinner to 'discuss the next stage'? Riiight. I bet Wade would have gone if it was Craig asking). But he didn't realise the way, the truth and the light of Wade/Craig. Craig wanted to study him! Wade wanted him to watch the 'healing'! And regularly followed him into hallways! And tried to intimidate him on the stairs! And was 'glad it was him'! Eeee! But now he's dead :(. But then, ghostsex is not exactly implausible in this fandom. And there's always 'teaming up' with Locke to play around with (too little, too late, you stuck-up arse).
Mostly what this episode made me think was how much I love Craig. He's so adorable, even when he's making a tit of himself. And he keeps getting manhandled, but that's not enough to stop him talking! And he misses his gran, and cries...sigh... Locke I (as you might have noticed) think is a stuck-up arse, but he was kind to Craig, so it's forgiven. Monaghan is apparently non-essential (foreshadowing the next series?) but I think should still be kept around for Craig-protection/advice. Justine continues to annoy me, with her 'emotional intelligence', 'I can solve all cases/connect with all people/la la la' ways, but think she should have had slash with Patience/Sarah/whoever. What the last episode DID is finally tip the balance in favour of buying the DVD in February, assuming I have the money - Wade/Craig needs further study, methinks.
So in conclusion: eeeee!!!
Finished Richard III - am I the only one who feels sorry for the intelligent, deformed bastard? And how did he fight so well in battles if he was all crooked and shrivelled and whatnot? Perhaps something to bring up in a seminar. And started on 'Cloud 9', which is equally realistic and random-crazy, but has some fantastic lines that will weave their way into my conversations shortly, I feel. 'Shall we go in a barn and fuck?', 'boys have no business having feelings', and 'you know what I'd do if you were shot with poison arrows? I'd fuck your dead body and poison myself'. Genius.
Radio meeting tonight, and gaaaah, I have to do an Uncovered for Thursday (tiny radio bit about what's on that evening in Nottingham), which is annoying, if not all that taxing. Wanted to go see Closer and perhaps Team America again this week, but what with going home on Thursday it doesn't look like that'll be too likely. Will get to see Jack though, so it's all good. In other news, successfully converted all of my housemates to Eastenders-obsession with my history-of-plotline-relating ways - huzzah! And, yay, the our shower's getting fixed today! No more showers that are freezing at sporadic intervals! Double-huzzah!
