The pictures are pretty. That is all I expect anyone to know.

Hello! Neverwhere, yes. I read and talked about it a bit ago. Well done on the gambit. It is one book (http://www.play.com/Books/Books/4-/888317/Neverwhere/Product.html), though it should clearly have numerous sequels, because many things are left unfinished, imho. It is also a tv series (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00004CSV2/202-0067337-4383847?v=glance&n=573398), but I prefer the book.

It is a bit strange. I am impressed by your sheer love of Angel, Islington though. Basically it's about the world 'below London' for people who have fallen through the cracks, where various puns take on lives of their own. A lot of it takes place on/around the Underground - there is an actual Earl's court on the train from Earl's court station, and they go to abandoned tube stops from times of yore. Angel Islington is an actual angel called Islington, though. They go and talk to him for various reasons, and he passes out wine and sings. I don't think there's a station involved.

They are not very complicated books, and rather good, if you don't mind that 'slightly unfinished' Neil Gaiman thing. I sort of assumed you knew/had read them, since they are so much about London! Nevertheless, I recommend them. You can probably get them from your library, if it is big and carries Gaiman.

This is all my help.

I can read the trauma JUST FROM THIS SENTENCE. And now I want to read Pratchett. Um. More so. I have enough books already damn it!

Oh, also - there are a few versions of it. I'm not sure how it works, but basically he wrote the novel of the BBC series, then did an American version, with things explained for them and extra things, and things removed. And then there's the 'author's preferred text', which I linked to above, which is an amalgamation of these, with more bits added and more bits taken out. Probably it doesn't matter than much in terms of the story, but if you care about Completeness you might be as well of trying for the Author's Preferred/2005 one. If you can find it.

Yes. Sort of. He wrote the novel while writing/filming the series, including lots of bits that got cut out of the final show. So it's all a bit of a mess. Just stick with the 05 book and don't think about it.

Did you reply too quickly, DID YOU? I do not understand. I am happy that nerdcakes knows your love of your gay boy touching show. I have only veryvague memories, because I am PROBABLY TOO OLD. But it is BEAUTIFUL and YOU WIN FOR IT. GOOD.

I I yes, in that I reply quickly and then have FURTHER THOUGHTS I wish I'd included or been more coherent about, and just have to cry. I'm not sure nerdcakes knows about the gay touching, but she knows what I am talking about and cling to it. YOU ARE NOT OLD, YOU ARE YOUNG LIKE A FLOWER. OH.
