I graduated. Check me out.

Graduation Day. No demon snakes, though )

Today I skived off work, being completely knackered. We stayed on for dinner with my housemates and their parents last night, and didn't get back till 11 or 12, after staying up late on Wednesday as well. I almost overslept yesterday morning - forgot to set my alarm. Only my mystical ability to sometimes get up exactly when I intend to/am used to doing, without alarms, saved me. Also I had a coughing fit at 5am this morning, and blah blah blah blah blah, I didn't think I'd be much use. I sorted out all the masses of stuff we emptied out of the Nottingham house instead. I have somehow magically made it disappear into my room, and I'm not sure how. Ah well.

I also have more books than ever. It's slightly horrific and terrifying. Bookshelves soon, I think.

Anyway. I also watched my recorded episode of Veronica Mars. Spoilers for Veronica Mars 2.7 )

I want to see Series 1. Like now. Probably I should just bite the bullet and start downloading stuff. But I'm also thinking a multiregion DVD player might not be a bad idea. Like these shiny numbers (ooooh). I can pretty much afford it, after all. And I could probably cope with the tiny screen.

Today on Emmerdale, Matt finally realised Sadie is slightly inhuman, and dumped her. Hurrah! Carl was hardly around, but had a scene with Sadie, which is always good, because she's always very nice and he's always very wary of her. He's never liked Sadie. It is item no. 37 of his greatness.

Also, a person has joined [livejournal.com profile] emmerdaleslash and [livejournal.com profile] amongmen :) Hurrah!

And I saw the episode of Malcolm in the Middle where Spangler follows Francis up to Alaska because he just can't forget. Oh, my OTPs. I love them all.

I'm not commenting much lately (it feels like) because I just don't have enough time, with work. Also the heat is making my brain horribly slow. But I'm reading it all, I promise! And making a variety of noises at the screen.

I'm going to Nottingham tomorrow (for real, this time). My housemates thankfully don't want to go out clubbing all night, so there shall be drinks and laughs, hopefully. Then Thursday is Graduation. Because what I really want to do during a heatwave is flounce around in black robes. But I shall be officially a Bachelor, so I guess it all evens out. I probably won't be back till late, so consider me AWOL. Or AWL. But Jack is apparently not over this weekend because mother is working nights, so I should have TIME AND A HALF on Friday and Saturday. Which is nice.
