On Sunday, I got a cold and my period on the same day. The same damn day. Not a lot of sleep was had on Sunday night. AND I had a prescription to pick up, and it's my dad's birthday today so I had to go get him a card and a present of some sort. Happily though, I found out that Mefenamic Acid, which I take for cramps anyway, has aspirin in it, which is probably why my sore throat felt better after I took some. Unhappily, this means I'm trying to schedule a Mefenamic Acid tablet for before I go to bed, so the pain is killed enough for me to sleep, which is going to be a bit of a nightmare if my cramps start kicking in badly a bit before that. Although I can still take paracetamol-based cold stuff as well as the Mefenamic Acid. I still get a bit paranoid about mixing medication though. Hmm.

In any case, I'm skipping tonight's Bonfire outing, for the first time in years. I was out for awhile in town getting said prescription and stuff, so I think any longer out in the dark and cold will be pushing it. We've got some fireworks for the garden though, so I'll probably have to go out anyway, and it's my dad's birthday, so my sister and her family will be coming down, and I'll have to smile and laugh and pretend to be happy. sadkjaskj.
