Have been playing a hideous amount of Morrowind lately. Damn those Boots of Blinding Speed! They make it so easy to slip in a quest when I have a spare hour! Hopefully I will soon exchange these hijinks for, y'know, revision and whatnot.

Made a pact with my girl-housemate to do more things I really want to do this term, so will hopefully be learning the ancient art of kick-boxing before too long. And I'd like to say writing (fic), except that Word blank documents lately just give me the odd urge to go get a glass of water and hide in front of the TV. Said housemate has, also, semi-agreed to go to Cuba with me this summer, for which I am all kinds of ecstatic. It's pretty obvious, after so many months/years, that I REALLY want to, so why should I wait? Have to find a travel scheme to go with though, because she's not willing to just catch a plane out there and find a hotel. Has to make things complicated, doesn't she?

TV highlights of the weekend were Eastenders - the Den/Dennis is so twisted, and nobody bats an eyelid over the idea that Danny hides his gambling from Jake the way Jim and Patrick hide it from their wives - and of course, Sea of Souls. Which is good, but I've decided not all that slashy. Growl. I just WANT to slash Craig of the pretty eyes, with anyone, though especially Monaghan. Perhaps if they had a single scene together where Monaghan isn't about ready to throttle Craig in rage.... Though there were lots of just Douglas/Craig scenes this week, without annoying Justine. And Craig did leap to Monaghan's defense, conversationally AND physically. Into the barrel of a gun! And Monaghan looked quite worried. And, on a different tack, Craig was all ready to share a room with psychic/psycho soldier boy, 'in the name of research'. Possibilities....

Or maybe I'll just imagine one of them getting possessed by a sex demon. No fuss, no muss.

Apparently next week's tale will involve Craig 'facing up to childhood demons'. Hurt/comfort? I can only pray. I have an exam to get out of the way before the joy of that though.
