Sea of Souls Episode 5. Aka: eeeeeeeeeeeee... :D

Craig does an awfully good impression of a completely gay boy being randomly seduced by ladies with powers. It was brilliant. He came quite close to getting raped in that last scene, didn't he? I also think perhaps this was not the best episode I could have chosen to watch with my parents ::head in hands::

It was very beautiful, though. I should really worry that I enjoy seeing my favourite characters so horribly abused/ill/taken advantage of. And yet I don't >:D

But - 'You can't touch me!'/'I beat them!': oh Craig. Poor, foolish, innocent Craig ::shakes head:: But I suppose now that means he has a demonic daughter running around somewhere, seducing people. Probably looking just like him. It's wrong to want to read 'The Adventures of Craig's Succubus Daughter'!fic, isn't it?

Other things:

• Craig slept. This was very pleasing :)


• The bit with the little girl 'seducing' him was quite disturbing, however. Very Lolita.


• Oh Craig. I want you to have psychic powers too.


• I liked the rabbi lady. She can totally have a half-formed, vague fanfiction life in the back of my head. Possibly with Justine femmeslash, who knows.


• 'Innocent men' - this so totally Craig.


• I'm almost entirely certain (read: I really, really want it to be) that the park in which Justine and RL were walking is the same park Craig and Wade went for a walk in the Episode of Glory in Season 2. And that the flying leaves were totally a sign of Wade's worry/distress/disapproval. Yes.


• Almost all the scenes of Craig being ill inspired me with happy thoughts for mpreg fic :) Especially the one of him on the couch clutching a pillow to his stomach. I even thought perhaps it might be true, and that would be the last minute twist in the tale. But that's just my kink.


• Craig doesn't think it at all odd that a woman dresses in a satin evening dress after asking him round to check her house for ghosts. He takes a while to figure it out, in fact. This is why I love Craig.


• 'I've gone 20-something years without women throwing them at me' - awww/it's canon! Even more canon!


• And how old is Craig, anyway?


• Monaghan: 'Tell Craig to make sure he keeps in touch' - awwwwwwwwww!! I love my team!


• Other favourite lines: 'I'm normally very sympathetic to baloney!', 'I'm sure [Monaghan'll] understand, he's a man of the world'. I LOVE YOU CRAIG.


• I LOVE CRAIG. I LOVE HIS CAR, I LOVE HIS SLIGHTLY IMPROVED TASTE IN MUSIC, I LOVE HIS JACKET, I LOVE HIS APARTMENT. The numerous, numerous shots will make all my planned Wade-haunting fics much easier.


• I love Sea of Souls.

So in conclusion, rather a good episode. And eeeeee, the Craig. And yet more proof, if ever we needed it, that Justine and Craig are NEVER EVER going to get together. And that it would just be really REALLY weird if they did. Like incest. And not the good kind.

I can't believe the series is nearly over :( DVD soon please.

Yes, the first one was pretty dodgy, but at least he was vaguely willing (before Justine interrupted), and seemed to be enjoying himself. The second one, with the 'no! Get off!', was a bit rougher, I thought. And Wade was nowhere around to save him! Damn him.

Oh God, yes, the 'fortune' joke. Why did Justine think it was important to have Craig in the room while dealing with the nervous man's slightly 'out there' story? Craig makes me cringe quite horribly often, sadly. But I just hide my face in my hands for a bit and love him harder.

I think it would be interesting if Craig turned out to have powers, but it would sort of stop him being 'the skeptic'. Which is a small part of his charm. He should get possessed more though. It's nice to see him struggle with things.

HE WOULD GIVE GREAT MPREG. I would never need anything else from this show if they gave me that. And ghost!Wade.

Didn't he look so confused about why he was chasing her? So oddly, badly confused. And he did nothing but insult her! Paid-for compliments, 'you should be fat' - he so blatantly has no interest in anything female! It is only further proof of my point - No. Sexual. Chemistry. with the Female. Sex. Demons. He chased Wade. He can't even try to deny his gay. It is beautiful :)

The second one was undeniably a lot rougher, especially with the "I can't breathe!" bit. Damn non-corporeal Wade! all he could do was flail around helplessly and make leaves blow around. Also possibly he was there when Craig was filling the bath up, because that scene was seeped in ghostly presences...

Poor Craig, poor un-funny Craig. *Hugs* we have to allow our characters their naff jokes and bad people skills because they just add to the adorable obliviousness.

I think he could be in denial about his powers and be very confused and full of angst and defiantly skeptic anyway. He should be posessed more often shouldn't he? but then I would also accept him having to fight off people posessed by Wade who want to do sex with him...

Eeee! I loved "You should be fat!" because so many other women would have just walked out on him right there (which is clearly what he subconsciously wanted because he is GAY!). Also, when Wade was all scary to him on the steps he didn't flee, no, he actually allowed Wade to press him up against the wall!

Eee! I love that bath, because it is where Craig wakes up (randomly!) after his night of forehead-touching/transference/psychic-sex with Wade. So naturally the place he would go to when he was ill/possessed/generally upset :D

OMG, people-possessed-by-Wade!fic! So much love! This is possibly the only kind of Justine!sex I might possibly approve of. Monaghan! Monaghan could be possessed by Wade! Although that would be horrific betrayal of trust and suchlike. Still. Hmm.

Oooh Oooh yes! Wade's spirit is manifested a bit in the bathtub and When Craig lies in its creepy waters he can feel the power of Wades psychic healing from beyond the grave and that's why he went there!
(Also, I never realised that it was psychic sex, but it's all so clear now, and the headache the day after was Craigs equivalent of a sore bum because he was a psychic virgin and stuff!)

And Oh Oh you just made it so that I might actually write that, because Monoghan could be sort of working out as he went that he was actually sort of enjoying pressing Craig against the wall and groping him even though he didn't really have a choice about it, and Craig could be all "No Wade, You can't do that to Douglas!" and Wade!Douglas could be all, "Actually I was planning on doing it to you..." and Craigs resolve could slowly crumple and Ghost!sex could finally be true!
