[livejournal.com profile] jekesta has seen Sea of Souls! And knows the truth! Fandom of 3 - we are a proper fandom now. Oh yes. And Series 3 starts on the 7th of January, and I pray that I've mostly written my essays by then oh I pray. But. I say Craig/Wade! and people know what I mean. Oh. It is good :)

So many opportunities to use the 'isn't Craig pretty?' icon.

::listens to Craig/Wade playlist and is very happy::

Hello!

I have one essay written, but it's 5,100 words and should be 3,200 at the most, and needs a bibliography. I have one that's completely planned out, with paragraph topics and everything, but still needs to be written, also 3000. And I have two more, 2500 each, one on fairytales and myth and has quite a bit of theory reading to do, and another on a huge book I haven't finished, that also apparently has some theory reading which I didn't think it did. All are due in a week on Thursday. Less than two weeks. Omg. And I can't get THAT MUCH of an extension, because I have two exams a week later, within a day of each other. You are not alone. ::sobs with you::

I have had a very good time in fandom over the last few weeks though :)

Thanks. I choose not to think about them until my essays are out of the way :(

I looked at Angela Carter in my 1st year, in generic modern lit. Loved it, and have been (even more) obsessed with Little Red Riding Hood ever since. This modules' actually on Mythology in 20th Century Literature. Which is also fabulous, but ended with a bunch of questions on myth theory, which made me want to cry, until I noticed one about comparing myths and fairy tales, and I thought '..heyyy...'. So now I am comparing Little Red with pursuit/rape myths in Ovid. Go me :)

All my essays would be much easier to think about if I didn't have a shiny new fandom, including someone who likes my new cracked-out pairing, and a bunch of untouched Christmas DVDs, and my friends having just watched a DVD of a show/pairing/fandom I have been almost alone in for ages. Damn this constantly having the internet thing, damnit! It's no good for the work ethic!
