There's a video in my Youtube subscriptions called "Where are the pussy hats for Puerto Rico?", and it makes me so angry, it's a one and a half minute video, and I can't make it through it. I can't believe all the making fun of the pussy hats, and I can't believe this expectation that women should just support and do everything they can for every cause, or they probably don't deserve equality anyway, who are they to ask for something like that when they aren't doing everything they can to make everyone around them feel better all the time?

Orz, that kind of stuff really angers me. No one can fight for *every* single cause, and the people saying that stuff aren't standing up for that cause either. It is just hypocritical.

To be fair, the woman was latina, and I believe she genuinely cared about and was probably active with the Puerto Rican disaster efforts. But it was on a literal Feminist Youtube channel, and she was saying 'it is a feminist issue, you know'...which is like, only in the sense that women are involved, and are probably having a harder time of it than the men, because women always have a harder time of it than men in most situations? But other than that, it's not, really? I mean, in my country we had the Grenfell tower disaster a few months ago, where a tower block burned down and the safety measures in place were not sufficient, and a lot of people died. Is that a feminist issue, just because there were women who died too? I just really can't believe the whole 'if you were a real feminist, you'd fight for everything' type of argument you see going around, and especially that seem to mock genuine feminist protests - it's like saying sexism isn't a real problem, not like all these other problems, and if you're not helping out with them too, you don't really deserve what you're asking for. Which is to be treated like a human. It blows my mind. You can't be everywhere. You're only human. Even women - the fact that women are humans and can't do everything is a huge amount of what feminism is trying to say.
