There's going to be a sequel to Wicked. Hmm. It SEEMS exciting, though simple logic tells me Elphaba won't be in it. Still, a future reading possibility. The Reading List for 2005/2006 just grows and grows!

And as for Lost 1.5: Numerous times did I want to throw gasoline on Jack and Kate and set them on fire. Yes, people deciding that YOU get to take responsibility for them all is a bit much to handle, and perhaps even quite annoying, but dude - don't WHINE about it. Why is Jack even meant to be in charge? Because he is a doctor, and wears a white shirt? And yo - we don't care about your backstory because you angst and whine so much we KNOW something happened, and are past caring. Omg. Die.

That said, I did appreciate the scenes of Jack holding Boone real close, in water, and saving his life. And the one of him and Locke lying in each other's arms, which even my sister commented on. But Boone - Boone's gone a bit mad since coming to the island, hasn't he? Stealing guns. Hiding water. Yelling at people who save him from drowning. But he did try to save that lady, and failed, and I pet him for it. And he was all sad and alone at the end. Where precisely was Shannon? But I did get lovely shivers when Sawyer came up to talk to him, even if he only mocked. Sigh.

Which brings me onto Sawyer, who is just so cool, and so adorable with his little hidden box of treasure in the woods. Reminds me of the Malcolm in the Middle with the evacuation due to Hal radioactive waste, where Reese set up his own black market, and had diabetics bidding against each other for insulin. And I'd just like to take the time out to laugh at the idea that tiny, skinny, oh-so-waifish Kate could ever knock him down, rather than just knock herself out on him. She should have that badge branded to her forehead. Yes.
