girlofpreyI'm clearing out the last bit of my bedroom that really needs clearing, the cupboards above my bed. I found a few old boxes up there that contain some of my old documents from my uni years. It's so odd. My Nottingham University acceptance letter is in there. A bunch of cinema stubs from back when I collected those obsessively. And I had an ultrasound of my pelvis last week, and I just found the letter telling me to come for my first one, back in 2004. It's so odd. But happily, most of it can just be thrown away.
My hope is to get rid of a lot of stuff in there, and then move all my spare boxes (console stuff, pretty tins I enjoy) up there, and use any extra boxes to take the unwanted stuff to the charity shop. And then I'll have even more space, and much more efficient storage space. So far I'm just trying to work out how much Halloween/Christmas stuff to keep, and how many sets of fairy lights that don't currently get used one woman really needs. Oh, and burning my old scented candle just to use them up. Good times.
