• It's genuinely amazing that he's called David, because it works so well as a David vs Goliath reference, years before they decided that's what his character was going to be.



• It is really beautiful how well they're doing the David/Max/Callum thing (that is not a ship, FYI). Like on Monday when Max suddenly hated merry-go-rounds because his dad said they were for babies - like, how would that have even come about unless Max was talking about how he liked merry-go-rounds? Just that slow erosion of his innocence that David knows will absolutely continue to happen if Max goes to live with Callum.



• I do like that Nick's response to Callum on Monday was basically "yes, welcome to Davidworld. This is what happens when u push"



• Who, literally, who would think Julie betrayed them when they had also pissed off Todd?

John Bacchus is also a pretty beautiful human being. "Rattle his cage for me, would you John?" Amazing.
