I wish Coronation Street was just Nick and David going on a crime spree. Intercut with scenes of Carla and Sally keeping their struggling lingerie factory afloat by any means necessary, illegal or no. And occasionally their paths would cross and they would just smirk at each other. Coronation Street could become a crime show SO EASILY and it would be SO GREAT. Rita could run an orphanage for down and out youths and keep a baseball bat in the closet.

That said, I thought the scene with Michael ended up being a bit wet. I thought for a while he was going to get burnt with that iron. At least they could have broken something. But the best part was when Nick had finished being psycho and walked off and there was just David, like "AND YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MET DAVID". The second best part was probably David chatting casually with Kylie about how crazy Nick is.

Frankly, if this is Nick finally going really evil, permanently, then I applaud it. But I hope he leaves Leanne alone. She should have burned the bistro down like she burned the other place down.

I'm intrigued/concerned that they're going to give Steve a depression storyline. I think it'd probably be good, but oh Steve.

I heart Carla. She should buy a gold jacket.

Mostly Les Dennis just can't act. At all. So hopefully Nick will murder him and then force David to help him hide the body. IN THE CANAL PROBABLY.

But yes. Coronation Crime Street would be amazing. They should have at it. Steve's decided that he wants to retire early so he could turn the taxi firm into a drugs firm quite easily.

Do you think Nick will force him to hide it by putting it in the boot of a car and forcing David to drive it into the canal? By putting a hand on the back of his neck and assuring him this is what's best for their mum? That's what I hope.

A drug firm that delivered to your house whenever you called up would probably be super successful. And if the police ever wanted to know what you were doing, it'd just be like 'taxi for that guy, mate'. And even if they found the drugs in the car you could just say so many people get in and out it's hard to know WHO'S they are. The more I think about it the more it seems like a brilliant idea. Um. For fictional people. The best part about Coronation Crime Street is that Roy would have to continue to run a cafe in the middle of it. He'd know that calling the police on everyone wouldn't get them to change and they'd only get out of the charges anyway, so he just have to keep running it, trying to offer moral guidance as a fellow resident and offering tea when they get particularly fucked up because of their terrible lives.
