Emmerdale post-watching

girlofpreyOkay, so Carl didn't end up taking a bullet beautifully for one of his brothers. But he did get shot while being the only one to actually try to wrestle the gun from Grayson. I love it when he's a bit stupid. He did get to lie on the floor qwite beautifully and bleed though, while his brothers suddenly got their "Okay, now we are going to kill you" faces on and attacked Grayson together. Carl said the bullet only 'scratched' himn, which meant they could leave him on the floor while they dealt with other parts of the storyline. It was a bit hilarious. Then Katie got hold of the gun and decided she wanted to shoot Grayson. Then Matthew convinced her not to, took the gun off her, and then said he wouldn't mind shooting Grayson actually. Then Jimmy said he still might, having never had any problems with Grayson before, purely I think on the basis of Carl being bleeding on the floor. Then Carl piped up, and asked if he could join the queue, and Matthew looked down and was all "Yay!" at his lovely brother
Later on, Matthew was still thinking about shooting Grayson, and then Carl stepped up and said he could doit, because he is the EXPERT OF THE THREE. And Matthw was going to let him. Matthew gave him the gun and helped him grab it. Then Jimmy stepped in front and said "No, Carl! YOU NEED TO STOP WITH THE KILLINGS!", and Carl was still going to do it, and then he decied to collapse a bit on Jimmy instead. Then wander over to the kitchen counter to lean on that, while Matthew put his hand on his shoulder. It was a bit great. Then a whole thing happened with arresting Grayson, and eventaully they panned back to the three King brothers and Katie standing at the top of the drive, with Carl still holding his shot and still bleeding side, and Katie saying the ambulance would "be here pretty soon". It was great.
I hope tomorrow night's episode is about them going to the hospital with Carl, and looking a bit sad that he's hurt, and saying how they would totally all take bullets for each other, and Carl deciding actually he wants to movie back into their big house and join the company with them again. While they help adjust his bandages. THAT WOULD BE NICE. Oh, King brothers.
