I come to you with tidings of success. The flat totally got tidied. And I managed to rent a 40s dress from a vintage shop down Derby Road. And shoes. And gloves. And a hat. And a bag. And a fur. The only problem is that I checked back to the text K sent me about this party, and it's not actually a friend of hers' party at all. It's some sort of party to round off a festival, and K thinks people won't necessarily be dressing up for it all that much. Oh well. At least I'll be appropriately dressed. And it is a lovely dress. And hat. And pair of gloves.

And now I'm off to London for the weekend. After packing. Hurrah!
