I was going to do a little fannish review bit at the end of the entry last night, but didn't have enough time. However, some things are just to lovely to let go past.

Once again, Happy New Year!
This is Sark from Alias. He's been captured, and they're apparently not letting him have shoes. It made me quite happy when this shot came up on screen.- Sadly I don't have pictures for the rest. People are quite rubbish at putting the right pictures on the internet. But anyway. Danny from Sold - there was a house pitch/fantasy sequence in which he danced with a girl in a loose suit, and when they pulled back you could see that both he and the girl had bare feet. It was magical. You can see it a bit here in the Thursday 22nd catch-up, in part 3, but you have to skip through the chapters and wait for a bit. Still. I enjoyed it rather a lot.
- Kale from Disturbia - he spent rather a lot of the film barefoot, and we got lots and lots of shots of it so we could see the all-important house-arrest bracelet. It was quite good. Sadly, still no pictures :(
But - I was looking for some clips on YouTube, and it turns out rather a lot of people have made songvids for Disturbia. Some GENIUS set it to Blue. The sound goes a bit funny in the last half, but it's still great. About 2 minutes in you get a little bit of barefootedness as well. It's lovely. - Turner in Disturbia - towards of the end of the film, we see that Turner also goes around his house barefoot a lot. It's ONE OF MANY RATHER LOVELY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THEM.
- And that's all I can remember, really. I'm probably forgetting rather a lot. Oh, there was Beth in the fountain in Moonlight! That was quite good. For some reason there was no barefootedness in Die Hard 4.0. I don't know why. There was probably some in Tarantino's Death Proof as well. But these are the ones that stand out. Hurrah.
People are also doing Resolutions. My Resolutions for 2008 are:
- To get a permanent job.
- To take more pictures, which now I've got some not-actually-that-expensive batteries for my digital camera should be easier.
- To go see War and Peace at the Nottingham Playhouse. Because a day full of theatre seems quite win. Also to see James, Son of James at some point.
Once again, Happy New Year!
