For the record, Operation Beanbag is a go. I was a little worried it would slide out from under me, or squash down so much I'd end up practically lying down. But no, it's stiff, it's sturdy, it's comfortable to lean against. I could stretch out my legs without them feeling like they were at a weird angle. I still ended up a little stiff, I think just from sitting in one position playing games for so long, but that's probably always going to be an issue. With the beanbag at least I didn't have to keep sitting up and stretching out my back every twenty minutes. So I'm calling that a success.

While I was waiting in line at Argos to pick it up, I saw they had one of those 'queue here' sort of signs. But this one said in huge block letters "YOU'RE NEXT". And then underneath it, slightly smaller, "We won't keep you long". I found it vaguely menacing.
