Okay, I am not a huge Lynette fan just yet - I have only watched two episodes up to pres, and even Bree and Julie who seem pretty cool are not my favourite of people ever - but the way the televisionwithoutpity lady talks about her is just...omg. It's sort of amusing and horrific at the same time, like a car crash which mainly injured clowns. I especially like the part where she is talking about differences of opinion between wives and parents-in-law, and says:

Sure, that was ANNOYING and close-minded and old-fashioned and irritating and rude of her in-laws, but you are NEVER going to win THAT BATTLE, and life is too short to get all worked up about it. Roll your eyes and complain to your husband, and then let it go.

And then bitches about Lynnette for doing exactly that. Quelle fuck? As I've said, it's not my favourite show eva like omg, but its almost worth watching the rest of it so I can have my own 'eh' reaction to Lynnette, then be completely amazed and dumbfounded by hers.

Leeds, yay! )

Watched Emmerdale again tonight - there was a poker game, and Terry was not smoking but the three (non-arsehole) King brothers were because they had just had lots of hot gay brothersex, yay! Possibly Emmerdale will be my new slash soap. Eastenders just hurts me with its Andylessness. Only if they bring Dennis back, or Danny and Jake start having more obvious hot sex will I relent. Yes.

Ouch, the top of my mouth hurts. I have no Halls Soothers or ice-cream. Woe.

Been reading Atonement by Ian McEwan, for uni. Spent much of last night reading about how the main character, 13 year old Briony, spends time moving her finger, and wondering where the point is that thoughts turn into action, and thinking 'move, finger!' but knowing it's not the same as actually moving it, which I used to do all the time when I was younger omg!! Possibly this is a sign of the goodness of Ian McEwan but he is sort of boring me at the moment so I don't know.

Going to watch Desperate Housewives now, then Lemony Snicket yay! And ooo, extra icon spaceage is tempting me more and more, especially since this week's spacedchallenge's challenge this week involves a picture of Duane! Is slash too much to hope for? Willful obliviousness says no! :D
