Went to the ballet last night, as the more cunning of you may have guessed. 'Twas Giselle, and quite lovely. I want a lovely twirly swishy skirt (pouts). Got a bit bored with some of the random dancing though - I realise that dancing is a big part of ballet, but I thought it was dancing to further the plot. I did not realise that sometimes they will just dance. And especially when they are random characters you never see again, which is confusing. This will teach me to read the programme rather than relying on my amazing dance-interpreting skills. But anyway, it was very good and pretty. ( Spoiley spoilers )

Have decided not to go to Connotations this year, though I would like to. I feel that £100 (or more) is too much to spend on any term-time weekend, even one so slashtastic. Sniff. Hopefully plans for Cuba, though much more expensive, will not go half so awry. May have to sniffle-kick (i.e. weep at, but also harm) my parents for extra cash for spending and whatnot. Hmm.

And yay, got the new Bad Girl's Guide book yesterday! Both hilariously OTT and genuinely uplifting/empowering/whatnot. When I learn to drive, I am so completely going on roadtrips with my friends (willing or no). Am not entirely certain if this will work in England, where we have more hills than crazy cactus-worshipping cults and donut road-stands. But by God, I'll find out! At the mo, am more concerned the possible purchase of expensive make-up (which I don't wear), and attempting to requisition myself a new wardrobe. As usual, am one season ahead of myself. I want to do summer shopping!! And possibly Cuba shopping? There are already sunglasses in River Island, tempting me. But no, because all my money will soon be gone on stupid wintery 'basics' like having more than one pair of jeans. 'Tis not fair.

And why are my posts so long? My life does not feel this interesting and full while I am living it. Bizarre.
