I hate work. I've just had two days off, which felt very needed, and now all I want to do is get stuck into the piles of envelopes and stuff on my bedroom floor, and go through my shoe collection in the wardrobe, and just get stuff done, but I can't, I have to go to stupid work. C left an email for me and K last week saying "what are we going to do about all the people messing around with the car park, surely we can come up with a system that stops them, we know better than anyone", and I had to reply to her saying "I have gone to our boss many times before saying maybe if we had a system or consequences to punish people for breaking the car park rules, things would run better, and he has more or less told me that would just be vindictive". So I'll get to see her reaction to that tomorrow. Assuming she's in. And that is my job, just sitting there staring at the wall, occasionally greeting visitors, and sending emails I know people will disregard if they just feel like it. But they do pay me for it.

I'm going to a concert on Thursday in Leeds, and rather than try to get back in the middle of the night, I'm just going to stay in a hotel overnight. So I have to remember my new schedule just for this week, and to pack a bag of clothes on Wednesday night.
