I'm trying to get rid of the stack of letters and documents that used to sit on my dressing table, and is now sitting on my floor, and I just...cannot believe how much crap I have. I don't get sent letters, I get sent bank statements once a month or once a year depending on the account, and the rest is just stacks and stacks of crap. Crap I would literally put from the doormat into the bin, except that I want to recycle, and a lot of places send you pre-completed forms full of your personal information, so you have to be careful to not risk identity fraud. It turned out my stack was the product of years, and not months as I was hoping, and I'm probably only halfway through it and I have had to go through about ten identical letters of Barclays trying to get me to have a Barclaycard. Multiple issues of an alumni magazine from the University of Nottingham that I am never going to read, 15 years after I graduated. I'm going to have to look into how to get people to stop sending me stuff I am never going to read in a million years, because the waste is sickening, and the work of going through it all is incredibly annoying. I know that junk mail is apparently keeping Royal Mail alive at the moment, but please stop.

Oh, I have a similar situation with junk mail too. The waste is absolutely horrible.
