I just watched last night's episode of Coronation Street, because it said it was the one where David finally opened up to his family. I had to watch a truly endless amount of Phelan, quite a lot of Robert and Michelle who I don't care about, and we didn't even see David tell his family anything, just the aftermath. The hug was nice. The fact he was basically just saying 'it's a storyline - people should talk about it' was not. Feels like this is why I don't really bother with Coronation Street all the time anymore.
Anna turning up was nice though. Although I don't feel like I've been watching it enough recently to understand why or how that happened.

Obviously they would. But then they were like "will Phelan ruin Michelle and Robert's wedding?". And I was just like......who cares?

That bit from Eastenders sounds great. I can't.. it's almost criminal how badly it was all put together. There's surely a balance you can find between 'this is a realistic actual story of an actual rape survivor, aren't we responsible' and 'actually this is David Platt we're talking about'. I hate it all.
