So, it turns out that the general procedure with RSPCA and an animal is that they give you a reference number, you arrange to take it to a vet and give them that reference number, and that helps sort out any payment for treatment, and saves you having to wait in your house for an officer to come around 'at some point'. And, after some rigmarole this morning, that is what we did with the cat. My mum had to stay with it because I had to get to work, and she called me later to say it wasn't in fact a kitten, it was super old, and they knew that because half its teeth were missing. And that was why it didn't look great, because it was super old. But they told us just to take it back home, let it out where we found it, and give it some food. I'm a little concerned, because a neighbour of ours has a quite old cat of a similar colouring, and I'm a little worried I actually kidnapped a cat, rather than rescued a cat. But it wasn't chipped or collared, and it was super hungry when I tried to feed it, so maybe not. Hopefully not.

The game magazine have denied the rumours about the Superman game. I shall go back to lying in a dark room and connecting pictures of cake with red string.

Orz, you had the right intentions with the cat! Hopefully it'll find its way back home.

~That stinks about the Superman game. Maybe once Justice League comes out, there will be interest in developing a Superman game. I feel like he is a character a lot of people would like playing as if a good game company gets the rights to his title.

I'm still not convinced if the cat was a stray or not - it was in pretty bad shape, and thinking about it I don't our neighbours (who I know) would let it get in that bad shape. But you never know. And I might have to explain that in embarassment at some point.

The Superman game might still be in development (I believe!), but the magazine that people said would feature it on their cover next issue have said they won't be featuring it on their cover next issue. But yeah, Justice League is right around the corner, and it seems like this would be a great time to reveal it if it is real. Or at least it might get more people interested in Superman. I know people are considering that being kind of 'all powerful' might be hard to put in a game and play well, but I just love Superman and Clark Kent and Metropolis so much, and I just want to play through it.
