It's a shame that Jeremy Corbyn is so shit, because is I like so much of what he says and his politics, and the fact he doesn't back down from them.

This thought brought to you by an article showing how all the party leaders have voted on abortion in the past few years. Including some unfortunate opinions that apparently belong to Tim Farron.

Right, so. Basically I know the game is making fun of me. Along with the main characters in the game, there are a bunch of other classmates they have that you can talk to and get to know a bit. One is a girl called Dorothee, and fairly explicitly into yaoi. There are quite a lot of references to yaoi in the game, and how a lot of the young girls really love it, for example the princess of the royal family, who's travelling around with the main characters because she's the Main Character's sister's best friend, has made it super clear she's also into it. It's sort of half a joke, half a serious interest of those characters which they will passionately defend. And sometimes it feels like it's on the same level as the characters who are basically just sexual predators, and really sexually harass the female characters, including one who's a lesbian, because yay, it's great when they're written by men! But anyway, the slash stuff is still a nice addition to the game, for me.

Dorothee is the head of the literature club at school, and she absolutely writes and not just reads slash. Also, in the game, is an ability characters can have when Linked together to go into 'overdrive', which makes them super good at fighting for a bit. To begin with only the Main Character can go into overdrive with other people, but if you find certain chests around the game that are for certain characters, those characters can go into a fight together that's like a Trial, and if they overcome the trial, they can then go into overdrive together. It's a way of enhancing their battle relationship.

If the two or more characters aren't with you when you find the chest, instead of activating the trial, the game gives you a funny little quip based on those characters. This is the game with the noble boy and the commoner boy, and the noble boy is called Jusis and the commoner boy is called Machias. I only call them the noble boy and the commoner boy because I don't expect you to remember words like 'Jusis' and 'Machias'.

Today in the game I found a chest containing a trial to let Jusis and Machias go into overdrive together, which I've been keeping an eye out for for some time. They weren't with me, so I got a quip instead. The quip was:

"Have you read Dorothee's book about Jusis and Machias? It's starts with a Noble Command [a skill Jusis can use], a Treasure Sword is brandished [another skill Jusis can use], and ends with a shotgun wedding! [because Machias uses a shotgun]"

And it's like...game, I know you're making fun of me. But also, please let me read that story. The wedding part at least.

I did always wonder what Dorothee made of Machias and Jusis. They're right there.
