girlofpreyI hate Jack slightly less. But he needs to stop saying things that no human being would ever say ever. But his arseiness over the memorial thing slightly made up for it in humanity, if not likeableness.
Kate I hate slightly less, but needs to stop being able to do everything ever, and WORRY ABOUT THE HUMAN LIVES OMG as well. If she had shot the agent I would have respected her a bit more. Although it would probably have caused her problems. If she did everything she was doing now but acted more 'damaged farmgirl' - dysfunctional and having REAL trust issues, but decent at heart - I could forgive a lot of things. As it is it is 'blah' mostly.
But if SHE had shot the agent we wouldn't have had the lovely Sawyer angst. Oh, he is lovely. He is more interesting with every episode that passes, and it's nice because it's not even in that 'omg so HOT!' way. He is a character. And it is nice.
Sayid I have liked from the first episode, but again not in the 'so HOT!' way. I'm not even slashing the people. I just like them and am interested to see how events unfold for them. But he did throw Sawyer an apple in the golden, dusty sunshine, and that cannot be denied.
Boone on the other hand needs to be shagged by every warm body on that island. Most especially the men. He feels people up in the night, 'looking for their guns' - Shannon says you go on marches, we know you lie! Cry for attention if ever I saw one. Sawyer calls him 'boy'. This pleases me immensely. Probably Sawyer/Boone is not a huge slash pairing for the show because that is the way my fandoms tend to lie.
Locke scares me. But I like his knives. When we learned about his 'miracle' at the end, I was all 'ooh, the island cured him!'. My sister was all 'ooh, the crash cured him!', and attempted to argue that sometimes in crashes people can miraculously regain the use of their legs. I attempted to explain that the island has polar bears and wild boars and huge monsters living side-by-side in mysterious bliss. I think I am right in this respect. But I could be wrong. Yes.

What sites do you use? Can anyone sign up? How free is it?
I am thinking it is a thing I really should do. Because Malcolm in the Middle doesn't appear to be coming to Region 2 DVD anytime soon. Also there is lots of music I need, but that's another story, and bearshare.net is perhaps the way forward, if I can figure out how to get it freely.
