Probably the worst time I have with my periods are the months when, on top of the pain, I get nausea. Because then what usually happens is that I take a pill, usually in the morning when the pain is starting to kick in, and then I have a good half an hour - until the pill kicks in - of pain and of feeling sick and hoping I don't throw up, because I would throw up the pill, and then what do I do for pain relief, because obviously I would have absorbed some of it if it's been in my stomach for a bit, but not all of it because I've thrown it up, so I probably can't take another pill for the sake of my own safety, but clearly I haven't had the full dose and I will have to wait 8 hours or so till I can take another pill and have the full dose. It happened to me once during a period, and I live in vague worry of it happening again on those months.
