Uncharted 4

I blitzed through Uncharted 4 yesterday, and managed to get up to Chapter 19. And today I finished.
It was a nice ending. I was really worried they were either going to go overly dark, or overly conventional, but they managed to get an ending for Nathan that was genuinely lovely, he didn't have to stop being himself, but didn't have to keep doing the things he was obviously getting sick of. And Sully and Sam were even okay, and in his life. Happy endings for everyone. The game even addressed some of the problems I have with really rooting for the Nate/Elena relationship (the canon ship). I still don't really ship them - Elena just seems to be there for Nate to live up to, and is always somewhat critical of him, and I just don't find it romantic. Especially when Nate and Sully are so amazing, and they are so affectionate to each other, and look after each other. But given that they're probably never going to end a big game series by having the male hero go off with his older male mentor anytime soon - given that I actually like their relationship as slightly platonic anyway - and given that they made it very clear Nate really wants to be with Elena and would be slightly miserable without her, it was nice enough. Also the game had a villain who was incredibly obsessed with Nate, and a female black antagonist who wasn't a crazy person, which is always welcome. So yeah. It was a really nice cap to the series. Even though hella long. But great.
And now I can play Far Harbor! When my eyes readjust and stop being blurry! Hurrah!
