Here's the thing about the election - I can understand people not voting for Labour, because they and Ed Miliband were never very impressive. But I can't understand people voting for the Conservatives. Like - why? They were so evil. People hated them so much.
Anyway. Question number one on my mind is: will they keep the five-year term? Because it used to be four years, and they extended it to five supposedly to 'let the coalition settle in together'. Which obviously isn't a concern now. I absolutely expect they won't change it, but by their own logic they pretty clearly should.
There was a crash at the end of my street about an hour ago. The air ambulance was circling ominously overhead - our local hospital was shut down a few years ago, leaving just a bare bones A&E. They never landed, and when the person was loaded into a stretcher the ambulance didn't seem in a hurry to leave. Hope they're alright.
