Hurray, I start volunteer work at the museum on Wednesday! It is not paid, but it is interesting, omg! The manager gave me a tour. I had no idea it was so big. There is a reference room, and a glass collection which apparently sets of Geiger counters because they use uranium to colour the glass. The manager kept trying to put me off, I think, because he couldn't believe I would actually be interested in everything - I was definitely the youngest ~~and prettiest!~~ there - but I just kept being all 'old photographs, omg!', 'maritime research, omg!', 'boxes, omg!'. It is very good. I am looking forward to it. And because it is volunteerish I have no deadline and can spend all my time looking at the things, and can go in whatever time I want! I am quite pleased. I would like money. But I am pleased :)

I bought The Fabulous Girls Guide to Decorum at a charity shop, for £2. Not because I am fabulous. Or want to be decorous. But it would be nice to be able to know how, if I need to. Mostly I am thinking it will be research for books, featuring girl detectives who can't really just get bored and leave parties and such when there are mysteries afoot, omg!

And in other news, I watched four episodes of Angel. I am so tired nowadays mostly I think I will die. Anyway.

The Ring: Angel has a big demon Gladiator orgy. What? There was other plot?

Eternity: A woman named Rebecca has the ability to look either sweet and lovely or stupid and bitchy depending on her fringe.

Faith is quite scary and evil, and mostly looks like a ghost. However, she still kicks some serious ass.

Wesley is mostly very pretty and lovely. He is more pretty and lovely when he is being horribly tortured.

Horriblytortured!Wes/Faith is horrific, but strangely compelling...

I hate Buffy. Omg.

Buffy and Faith are so in love.

Faith has a nice jacket.

Angel bends down like he's going to kiss Lindsey, and tells him they're 'going to do this real soon'. I think perhaps they already did it, on Lindsey's desk, very quickly, and Lindsey's going to have a nasty suprise coming in the next few weeks or so. Yes.

Today's dilemma: how to justify the buying of Angel DVDs when I have no money and my sister has a perfectly available stack whenever I want to borrow them (but I have to borroooooooow them....!). Hmm.
