So, Windows just crashed my Flash plugin to close down a video I was watching, closed my browser window, and then shut down my computer, without any warning that I saw, in order to configure some new updates.

What a subtle and unobtrusive way to deal with updates. WELL DONE, Microsoft.

I know you already know I think this but truly updates are THE WORST THING EVER OH MY GOD.

I think I sort of brought it on myself by accidentally switching my laptop off when it was downloading stuff the night before - but it was taking SO LONG I feel like actually that sort of reinforces my point. I might switch them off for this computer as well.
