A BEAUTIFUL THING HAPPENED BETWEEN GARY AND DAVID. And was Gary talking about gay soldiers later on?? I feel like they're teasing an eventual Gary/Alia romance, and Steph has said she fancies David so I always wondered if they'd have a thing eventually, but maybe they aren't, maybe David will have marriage trouble and get drunk one night and he and Gary will just wake up next to each other. And they'll be the new Corrie love story for the ages.

I kind of wish Rob wasn't a cunt and wasn't a murderer, so he could keep being an arrogant cricket star forever. Oh well. I hope next week he finds out they're building new underwater flats just by that dock.

They're being horrible about sex workers again - although not portraying them all as sort of evil like Emmerdale - but it is Leanne they're talking about, so it's also kind of hard to stick up for her either.

I'm kind of sad they're not keeping the cricket team thing going for a while. That was quite lovely, and dragged a lot of characters together in new and exciting ways. And we got to see them in fancy outfits. But I guess it was just an excuse to get Zeedan into the show and give Rob a high pressure situation to run around in. Ho hum.

I love that Gary brought up gay antics out of nowhere, like he's been thinking about it a bit lately, having ~feelings. It seems so totally like it MUST be for a reason, but I do kind of assume it won't be. Also I think it's awful that he's pretending to be interested in Alia when he clearly was in love with her dad and sorrowful that he wouldn't cheat on his wife for him. And now he's trying to transfer his feelings and it won't work and he should just kiss Kal instead. And then David can be inappropriately jealous, and the whole street can wake up to their gayness.

Maybe he was having feelings since seeing David in his Jude Law outfit. Sometimes I feel ashamed for having clung to this ship for so long with no real interaction or evidence, but mostly I don't. I like the idea that David would be jealous of Kal though, like 'woah, woah, woah - kissing boys is an OPTION?'.
