Omg, opera officially=teh woah. It was very long, but omg, wow. Teh marvellous. And somewhat scary. Have dwarves always lived in morgues? Interesting 'dragon' also. And 'giants'. Hmm.
Also, I understand that Loge=Loki, and Wotan=Wodin/Odin. But how the hell did Thor-->Donner? I was trying to be all serious, but secretly thinking 'what about Blitzen? Is Prancer out back?'. And such things. But overall I liked it - was actuallyvery interested vaguely curious as to when the next part would be on. Not for a while, I'm guessing. Poor Rhinemaidens. Although I think 'whore in the dark' might just be my new favourite phrase >:)
Noticed the influences on Lord of the Rings, of course. I should really watch those films again - I really liked them, but never felt the urge to buy the DVDs or anything. Hmm.
Dad has offered to take back the iRiver and get me a minidisc recorder instead. Nice dad! I feel a bit ungrateful still, but - if I asked him for a new coat, I would not want one made of gold! Which is sort of a defence. Yes. ::shifty eyes of semi-guilt::
