Heroes 2x05

Hereos magically got half decent again. That was good.
Nathan with a shotgun is quite beautiful.
The girl did not just have TV powers. That was quite good. Muscle mimicry is blatantly ripped off from some comic book that isn't just on Heroes, but I don't mind as it means she can do a spinny kick. I'm aware that she learned that off the TV, I don't care. I have double standards, apparently. That scene of her and Micah laughing was starting to get a bit tripped-out though.
Niki! She doesn't have the virus, which I realised after I remembered she had no symptoms. But she wants a cure for her split personality disorder rather than for her powers, which was my other thought, and the lamest thing I could possibly think of. There is great Niki+Claire fic here. Mostly I am thinking that when Niki has integrated the other part of her personality she will angst less and have more fun. This is CLEARLY WAY TOO AMBITIOUS hope.
Matt's father doesn't want to raise him in the ways of supervillainy. That's quite sad. Though they did get to have their little meet-up. And Matt's father left him trapped in a nightmare. That was quite good.
My vague thought is that Elle will turn out to be Matt's little sister. Clearly she won't, she will turn out to be Bob's daughter, and get righteously angry and fight with the Heroes when he's killed. But still. That's my initial thought.
I like how Hiro, Kensei and Yaeko just got blatantly OT3ish. Even if her job was still mostly to wait under a tree while they went to get the maps. Which were buried all over the country for some reason. Hopefully she will develop superpowers at some point next week. Otherwise she might be a bit disadvantaged if she does indeed end up fighting.
I love Peter, but he really does say some stupid things sometimes. "It's because of me, they were after me". Like that's going to make her feel ANY BETTER. However, I'm sort of glad they killed Ricky, because they kept pretending he had a character and he clearly didn't, and now Peter and Caitlin get to go off abroad, solving mysteries and possibly fighting supercrime. Which could be quite good. I love that he was possibly a kept Company man. Oh.
Sylar/Elle/Peter might be a bit win.
Paul and Ian debated over MPs and the Cash for Peerages scandal! That was quite beautiful. And they were both unphased by the naked hotel man. And Paul had a book. Hurrah.
