And finally, my favourite message from children to NHS workers.

I watched Jaws. Aka The Shark That Won't Quit. Funny to think, now, that it was almost certainly a female - all the largest individuals of great white sharks are. Which means there was in fact a major female character in the film, even if she was a monster who had to die at the end. Also, as always, worth pointing out that humans really aren't good food for sharks, and the bigger the shark, the less good we would be. It's not anything to do with anthropomorphising or sympathising with sharks - we don't have enough meat on us to be worth the effort of hunting down. A shark might certainly bite a human, but they're extremely unlikely to hunt us down. The real horror film was whatever was happening in the seal colonies nearby.

You will be happy to know that there is fix-it fic for Jaws, where Quint lives at the end. I love fandom the most. Even now.

My bedroom is literally full of spiders. I thought that was an autumn thing, not a spring thing. Why are they getting so cocky? Am I just not around to notice it usually?
