Paid account extension buyer! You're very kind, and I love you quite a bit. ::Dances you::

I managed to get my CV printed off and handed it in a few places yesterday, including the agency who found K work the day after she signed up, who've made an appointment for me to register with them on Friday, so hopefully I will have money again soon. I also opened up an account with Alliance and Lester, and dad should have transferred the savings last night, so I've got that to fall back on now. The guy at the bank was halfway to transferring my current account over from Barclays, before I stopped him. Slow down, Customer Advisor. Surely the level of commitment is my choice.

Other than that, Peter/Sylar has mostly eaten my brain. And that's only half a pun. It's weird, because it's really quite a stressful pairing - you can't really ignore the fact that they both want to kill each other, and that they're powers are so evenly-matched they're probably not going to get each other in a disadvantaged position anytime soon. Also the sheer confusion of trying to keep up with their powers, and the fact that within seconds Peter would have any extra powers Sylar had picked up anyway. Even if he couldn't control them. But given that too many powers gives him comas, that probably would put him in a disadvantaged position. Just getting near Sylar ought to be a slightly delirious experience. I'll also go along with the fact that it doesn't make sense that Peter didn't get super-hearing, super-memory after meeting Sylar again. But then Sylar doesn't seem to be doing much with his super-memory either.

That was a tangent. Anyway. They do hit a lot of my kinks quite squarely, though. And there is great fic. I might do a recs list. Also, if Peter went evil, they would be the best psycho boyfriends ever. Assuming Sylar didn't still try to kill him to be the only special one. I LOVE PSYCHO BOYFRIENDS QUITE A BIT. It looks like they might end up teaming up somewhat in canon though, if the person "worse than the boogeyman" Molly mentioned in the finale ends up coming forward. I personally want to hear more about the older generation of heroes who "went astray" - I'm guessing this guy's one of them. Although given that of that older generation, one is now a CEO of a large company in Japan, one is a mob boss, and another is the head of a massively influential family in New York (two counting Daddy Petrelli, three since the Devauxs seemed quite rich), it seems a bit like they might have gone astray. My personal theory: Mama Petrelli and some of the others killed Mr Petrelli, because he wouldn't go along with their plan.

It's weird how much I like Heroes. Aside from the fact that it's a big fandom, and omg there is fic, and I like one of the most popular characters. There really isn't a single character I don't like, besides Evil Thompson I guess. Even Eden grew on me after we learned about her past and why she seemed a bit fake (although six months from influencing police officers to "You told me I'd never have to do it again!"? Pshaw). Even if some just never really got fleshed out, and the writing is still painfully bad, especially when you rewatch stuff. I mostly wish I had the DVDs, so I could go back and check stuff without having to download them again. Have to wait till Christmas for that. Hmph. Still. It's quite nice.

The plan for today is to probably print out some more CVs and hand them in to more agencies, if I can find a print shop, and try to track down the Job Centre, and probably the new Die Hard movie. And to catch up more with Chamber of Secrets. That's one thing the free time has been good for. Anyway. Ciao.
