Camping

I'm going camping now for the weekend. The weather is not giving me great hope, but the bbc is telling me it might be quite sunny in Kent over the weekend, so we'll see. I've packed many books just in case. My packing is pretty much done, though mostly it made me realise how little stuff I have suitable for camping in wet fields. But there will probably be shops there. The washing up is not done. That will probably be unfortunate when I get back on Sunday. But there you go. There's always the take-away down the road. Anyway. I will be gone over the weekend. Have fun without me. I will be praying for sunshine from now till I get back, probably.

COME BACK SAFELY TO THE WORLD. Do not hurt the field or the field will hurt you. Don't set fire to your tent. That sort of thing.

MY CAMPING INSTINCTS KICKED IN. I was very good to the field. And only shoved pegs in it a few times. In return it was only a little bit cold. A successful trip, I think :)

OH I HOPE IT IS OKAY. It has been raining here so much that some of the roads have been closed off. I had to drive through a FLOODED ROUNDABOUT today, it was quite disconcerting, YET GREAT. Hopefully all the rain is here and thus not in Kent. HAVE FUN. DON'T TANGLE WITH ANY COWS.

WE TANGLED WITH OUR EYES, NOT WITH OUR HANDS. There was a flooded underpass in Nottingham on Friday, that was weird. Especially because I wanted to use it. The weather in Kent was lovely though, only a bit showery and breezy. It's like it knew we wanted a barbecue. I would generally call the weekend a win.
