• HIGNIFFY - Rob Brydon has really very pretty eyes. And needs Paul's help to run a quiz show. Aww. Also, there clearly needs to be "Paul and Ian vs. Godzilla" fic. Someone write that. And we totally know what nerdcakes' favourite restaurant now.



• Jam and Jerusalem - Is the young blond girl with Jennifer Saunders' character meant to be her Lolita-like live-in lover, or am I just getting it completely wrong? I quite liked Eileen tonight. She defended her awful parents, or at least her own love of them. I quite like it when that happens, for some reason.



• 8 Out Of 10 Cats - Love. I can't even remember why. Possibly the random indie boy saying oil would 'fall down from the moon onto the earth', then that the Van Ellens radiation belt was why the cosmic elevator would never work - 'In your face!'. Probably Sean Locke as well. Oh, and a clip from Teen Witch! That was the best thing ever.



• Sky QI - Yay. For various reasons I won't spoil, but mostly to do with Alan Davies and how beautiful Jessica Stevenson is.

This weekend I could go see Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. That would be funny. I could go see Pan's Labyrinth. That would be interesting, if weird and possibly extreme. Or I could go see Casino Royale again. Just because. Probably I don't really have the time for any of them. I've been having vague thoughts on how Le Chiffre is "The Number" and James is 007, and I'm not sure how they work into porn. Mostly I still love the plotbunny where Le Chiffre is a vampire, because Craig!Bond slightly wobbly and delirious from blood loss would just be the best thing ever. Also, the idea of Vesper/M is taunting me for some reason. Besides the pretty, obviously.

The blonde girl person is in fact not only the character's daughter but also actually Jennifer & Ade's daughter. For which she maybe deserves a prize (can you imagine parent's evenings?)

Aileen was great for that line and also for going a bit crazy over pasties but mostly for defending her parents.

I did have a feeling, and possibly knowledge, that she was the character's daughter, but honestly, that was my first thought. And I quite liked it. I did not know she was Jennifer's actual daughter, though. That makes me feel slightly bad about it.

(And this is not actually the first time I have shipped characters who turned out to be related in real life)

Rob Brydon is PRETTINESS PERSONIFIED. I think that the world she pay more attention to this fact.
