Things, and Connotations

I went to see A Scanner Darkly. God I love Robert Downey Jr. Also, I got Laputa with the original English dub, and it is just the best thing ever. And, after the fifth episode of Deadwood, I find myself suddenly in possession of some new Stripy Whore Socks. God bless those whores.

Also I apparently taught Jekesta that Percy Pig sweets are great. And that is ACHIEVEMENT ENOUGH FOR ANYONE.

Connotations have asked me if I want to mod a panel again. The one about multi-fannishness. I don't know, really. Out of all of my suggestions, it's the one I thought I'd be most comfortable modding if I had too. But I do think I'm quite rubbish at modding. My throat sort of seizes up and I need notes and stuff. I couldn't actually handle a flip chart. On the other hand I do, um, have some experience with the subject. And I think I get a bit of a masochistic thrill from putting myself up for these sorts of things. But then again, it might be nice to just go to the con and enjoy it, rather than worrying what the hell I'm going to say in my Panel. I probably won't, it's not even like I'm the last resort like last year. And I can still go and talk even if I don't mod. They need an answer quickly, so I'll probably decide by tomorrow. I'm just - thinking it over. It is quite a nice panel to be offered.

Oooh, it will be a good panel whether you mod it or not. So long as that souns nice of me and not dismissive of your great modding skills dude. It will be shine and love. I would not mod it but I don't like things like that but I think you were good at modding and if you sort of a bit wanted to mod something you could make sarah be on your team again because she is multifannish also and it is for the win. Also I will go and be silent supportive. yes. Eeeeeee connotations, eeeeeeee.

I keep deciding and then deciding back again. It's terrible. I think it will be a great panel regardless, and possibly someone else could do better things with it. I don't know (hmph). On a different note, what time do you think you're likely to be getting there on the Friday? I've worked out if I get a lift to Leeds with dad and a train straight away, I can probably be at the hotel for 11 o'clock, and was wondering if there'd be anyone around. I can't remember when check-in time is.

I have been twice now and my brain refuses to have any recollection at all of how long it takes to get there. I think we will probably be looking at more like twelvish than eleven, though, because of trying to get everyone up and stuff yes. I have no idea when the con type bit starts proper registering, but I think when people ahve got there early before you can still sit around in the con bit until they're ready to start handing out badges and stuff, otherwise there's always the bar? We can totally try to get there for as early as possible though, yes:) ::DANCES YOU::
