Dean is SUCH LOVE.
Oh God, oh God, oh God, character development and emotions and all the things he generally deliberately avoids, and backstory, and reasons for the strict following of orders that are to do with wanting to protect his little brother, and yay! And the boys as kids! And spaghetti-os! And Sam was ocassionally prattish in this one, but then he gave his brother the prize, or apologised, and talked about wanting innocence at the end, BLATANTLY IGNORING THE FACT that he's really quite innocent for a demon-hunter. A fact Dean clearly chose to not enlighten him of because, y'know, he wants him to have what he can get. And yay! This will make being interested in him in the future much easier, I think.
AND DON'T THINK I DIDN'T NOTICE HE WEARS HIS LEATHER JACKET WITH THE COLLAR TURNED UP, LIKE HIS DAD USED TO. Omg, love.
I am experimenting with the fancy new LJ layouts. I quite like the header of this one, but the rest is far too pale. Hm. I am giving it a trial run. Then I'll probably be back to the old orange, red and yellow.

Date: 2006-08-26 12:52 am (UTC)I LOVE SUPERNATURAL. I thought maybe I just liked it, and was enjoying the fun ride, BUT NO I LOVE IT. I'm not sure how it compares to Sea of Souls yet though. The episode is the one with the shtriga, aka ugly man-witch, and Dean remembers when he was young and didn't protect Sam, and the witch almost ate him, and his dad LOOKED AT HIM DIFFERENT, and it was JUST AWFUL. But good. I will finish the season tomorrow I think. Hurrah :)
I am sorry for my chameleonlike-ness. Probably it will change back soon, for I am boring and set in my ways. Also, orange, red and yellow. Until then love it for the Noir and pretending I am a hardboiled female detective, perhaps. I'm not quite sure how boots on an electricity line represents this.
