My Sleepy Hollow DVD from ebay arrived. I did not realise that having bought it from someone in the Netherlands, it would in fact be Dutch. But it has English audio, so all is well and I don't have to resort to just looking at the pictures.

Ichabod's so pretty.

In other news, Morrisons is fabulous. I went with mum when she picked me up from the train station, and first there was a fresh, hot batch of potato wedges from the deli, and then there was the Marlon Brando DVD Collection, for £5.99. Whenever I just try to get The Wild One, it's usually £20, maybe £15 if I'm lucky. And now I have it and three other black-and-white, classy-looking Brando-y films besides. Genius.

And I've started watching Supernatural. My main thoughts so far:

• The car is pretty.


• Dean is pretty.


• Sam is quite sweet.


• And I might like him best, but he's been whining a lot lately, and Dean's been mildly crazy and kick-ass. So. I DON'T KNOW.

I'm trying to think of others, but I think that's pretty much all I've picked up on so far. But I'm quite enjoying it. They should join forces with Ichabod. That would be the best one-off special ever.

I am slightly concerned about your Strange Ideas concerning Supernatural. Sam is not there to be sweet, but merely to demonstrate the Wonder and Beauty that is Dean and his Marvellous Car, yes. IT IS GREAT HOW IT IS SO AWFUL AND STILL SCARY.

I mean that last sentence with Love though. Cause Supernatural does Win quite a bit. Yes.

I LIKE THE ANGSTY CHARACTERS, I DON'T CARE. I have strange ideas about everything. You should know this by now.

Probably I would be more scared if I hadn't seen every ghost and every scenario already in previous films. But the horror is truly horrific, and quite well done, so yes, it Wins. Other parts don't - make sense - but mostly I'm just laughing at the crazy and enjoying the pretty. I feel that is the way to go with this show.

I LOVE DEAN I LOVE HIM. Sam is PANTS. Dean is WAY angstier and more better and his daddy issues are better refined and this is why I love him, it is not for a noble good reason. I LOVE THE CAR. I LOVE SUPERNATURAL. I DO.

I like Sam best, and you can't stop me! He just wants to have his own life, and no-one will let him. Also he has visions. For the win. Bear in mind though that I am all of 6 episodes into the series. Dean's superiority may well reveal itself to me. PLEASE TO NOT BE JUDGING ME AFORETIMES. DO YOU LOVE IT JEK? DO YOU REALLY?

It does not offend my eyes, I make it so I cannnnnnnot see it EVER. Good.

I don't mind you liking Sam! It is good that SOMEONE does. He is pants. And FUG. And I am not that shallow actually in my heart, but I find it so incomprehensible why they cast him that he confuses me and I forget to like him. But he is quite good. Dean is just better oh god I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIS DADDY ISSUES I LOVE THEM SO HARD OH GOD.

Also, in Phantom Traveller, Sam knelt in an aisle and yelled out an exorcism while the plane was crashing. LOVE. I liked that whole episode, actually. I thought it was pretty good.

It took me a long time to find Sam sweet. But yes the car is pretty and Dean is pretty too (and when their Dad turns up he's not bad either) and all together the prettiness makes up for quite a lot.

Also I love the idea of Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural.

Ahh, I tend to have a lot of sympathy with characters trying to do their own thing, when other people/life won't let them. Sort of a sucker for it really. But I'm only a few episodes in, so it could all change!

Wouldn't it be great? Ichabod would faint, and the boys would just roll their eyes and load him into the backseat :)
