I want to be in a place where I could plausibly shout 'slash!' and the people around me would start up a musical-style chorus-line. But I have no-one to share with, and I'm not sure I can do without £140 (or even £210) right now. Plus £20 for the convention fee. Unless I 'borrow' money from the Cuba fund. Sigh.

It is temptationful, isn't it? I've never conned and suspect I would love it. I have no intention of going because OMG Money and also Social Phobia, but I don't see why you shouldn't... *nudges you encouragingly*

The money excuse is quite a good one. But the social phobia one is not. But there could be saving and perhaps lucky investments. Or theft. Or something. ::kidnaps you and takes you anyway::

Very much temptationful, but the only way to overcome temptation is to give into it (like I did), so clearly the only logical route is to comecomecome! And Social Phobia, omg?! When WE are the society of which you speak? I am hurt. Deeply, deeply hurt.

Money, as always, continues to be the root of all problems and evil, especially when it is not there. Which...sounds like it shouldn't be right...::confusion::..
