No more reading, yay!

I made my first pancakes yesterday! And some weren't even black, soggy messes, which immediately had to be put out of there misery (and into the bin)! The end ones were even round, and hardly burnt at all. And yes, I was using Tesco batter, so I was essentially just adding water and egg, but - round! Not soggy! (And nutella and golden syrup, mmm...)

Picked up my Valentine's Day present for this year, Marks and Spencer's heart 'mosaic'. All pretty, but not too pretty to eat! I feel that Marks and Spencers is definitely the way to go for half-price post-Valentine's chocolate. Their chocolate is so tasty and nobody will believe me! Though I am still working on my 'not eating it all day, every day' type resolution - four whole days without chocolate/ice-cream/sweets/cake at all, go me! Unless lime jelly with pears in it counts...

Blah. Looking for Pitch Black slash, but it all seems to have disappeared :( (taps Internet). I like the tiniest fandoms. Sometimes I am the fandom. It's like Gulliver in Lilliput (the lit. reading has reached my brain, there's nothing we can do...). I am resolved to do more crazy fannish things to try to purge some of this mad, fan-style feeling, if I cannot actually pour it out into fic, like pancake batter into a frying pan. Hmm. Wish I had the Internet in my room. Then my life would be better.

On a slashy/fannish note, Hollyoaks has magically become the soap of Lost Characters and slash! tiniago will be so pleased. Lee and Bombhead in bed together, and clearly conflicted Lee pushing him out one minute and then suggesting they act like students and 'have casual sex' the next! Darren and Ben (neither of whom I even like but :0 ) all shirtless and drunk and lounging together in the pub! Mandy being just so annoying, but in Rome! Omg.

Sigh. I need more fandom. Sea of Souls Series 2, come out soon!

IT'S TRUE IT'S TRUE THE GAY! THEY BROUGHT THE GAY! !!!!!!!

I could not get over that Lee And Bombhead Take a Romantic Vacation To Liverpool thing. I mean. I mean. OMG so BLATANT! And the WAKING UP IN BED TOGETHER! Are they trying to kill me? I don't know what that random girl's about, she's clearly a red herring but Lee is so adorably upset and clearly in the middle of his heterosexual-crisis, rejecting-of-women type thing. And that Ben/Random Cute Sweet Dopey Guy/Darren alpha male thing is killing me with the obviousness. Jacuzzi! JACUZZI! AND YOU CAN NEVER SEE ALL THEIR HANDS AT ONCE! 2D Female Character is rather hilarious. And they're swapping her around like an old tissue. A TISSUE OF THEIR GAYNESS. Sorry, my metaphors are struggling a bit here. But just like that. I'm totally willing to suspend all my feminist principle and choke down all the chauvinistic crap for the sweet, sweet gayness.

Also, I love the random Italian girl. She is cute and actually sexy. Shame she's too good for Hollyoaks, really.

Lee clearly only wants to win the double-date competition so, technically, he will be on a date 'with' Bombhead. And candyfloss girl is sweet (heh), but unnecessary. He only loves her for her flossiness, within which their hides a stick - clearly a metaphor for something....

I noticed the jacuzzi too!! I was watching the omnibus yesterday morning after the Day of Horror, and thinking 'gee, Darren and Ben certainly do spend a lot of time together shirtless for straight boys'. Because they are not!

If Ben, who misses his wife, pays Scott, who stole his wife, to get Darren, who owes him a diamond engagement ring, back....does that make Darren his wife? I like to think so.
