And while I can...

Music You Should All Be Listening To. Besides the Snuff Box theme tune:
The Decemberists. They kick some ass, and particularly with the (hard to get hold of) Shiny.
And, because it's new (to me) and I can't stop listening to it, another of theirs, Engine Driver.
Everyone needs to hear In Which I Kick Harry Potter In The Face, by Draco and the Malfoys. (Warning: Some spoilers for Book 6. Um, in the title).
Haven't heard of Interpol? Have one on me.
I'm not even that big a fan of Idlewild, but Mistake Pageant never fails to get me. Song of Sympathy.
About as much as Jackie and Edna always does, by Kevin Coyne.
Nick Cave is God. Sort of. Listen to Lime Tree Arbour.
UB40 owns my soul a little bit forever. One day I'll even buy one of their CDs. I Can't Help Falling In Love With You, with extra synth chords.
I don't have a musical icon. Which seems horribly sad. Have to make do with a Sexy Girly one.
