I love Mickey. And earth. I flaunt my lack of having seen the old series and knowing how much better it might be than the current one. I also point out that all the Earth crap is more to do with Rose's emotional state and connections than the poor innocent ordinary people she is inflicted on involved with. If Mickey was a companion and we never saw Earth I would be equally happy.
