And we all know what he normally does with Goldfinger's associates >:) Also the idea of Bond being the bit of totty for once appeals to me. And that even though he has no idea about space/the universe/everything, he probably would save the hell out of Zaphod time and time again...

It was so effortful!! He BELIEVED!! I saw it and was all 'yay, Damien/Dave!' and 'yay, he loves his friends!'. It pleased me. Alex is cool, but Damien yes :D
I did not immediately think of it either, but I saw the report and thought 'if you had tapes of that...well you just would watch them all the time, wouldn't you?'. And then I thought probably the entire male staff like to take time out from their busy schedules to sometimes go into the basement and watch Damien tapes together sometimes. Because yes.
I have read the fic. Perhaps a hundred times. I love it, even if there is cruelty and Damien losing his job. It is greatness. The LJer I recced you has Damien/Dave as well. There needs to be more. I need to see the slashier episodes! Dammit.
