girlofpreyCHARITY IS THE BEST. Probably one of the best characters in a soap ever. And Emma Atkins is so good. I hope she gets Home Farm now, and just gets to keep it, without needing a man to 'keep' her. Noah is Chris Tate's son, in many ways he is the true heir.
And RIP Nathan/Declan I guess. I mean, more than before. I'm assuming Declan is dead, Megan said he wasn't so that's how soaps usually work, if you say it it isn't true. But even if he isn't, I'm guessing he soon will be.
Why is Liz such an idiot? How difficult would it be to let Dev take the ladder to Sally's house, let Tim come down, and then take it back again. Jesus. Also, I'm pretty sure they make ladders more sturdy than that. Like, able to fall from the full length they were designed to have without smashing to bits. But whatever.
And I don't love Todd, although I wish they'd do something more useful with him, but wtf about Leanne groaning about him getting to stay. It's Eva's flat, isn't it? Do they have some weird grudge I have forgotten? And why does she need Kal to fight her battles for her, exactly, he never has before? Hmph. I love Roy giving out free breakfasts though. He's great.
I hope this is the end of Andrea's stalking storyline, because it was getting creepy, and getting creepier because of how little she took it seriously. Altogether I'm glad they managed to have a serious ending to it that didn't involve her being stalked and terrified and maybe physically harmed, but. I am hoping that's it now. Fuck off, Neil.
Also, on the episode from Wednesday - I still don't love Todd, but it's kind of ironic for Eileen to be judging him and wishing he wasn't born when at least he hasn't killed anyone. Has he? Eileen? A woman with Alzheimers'? Left alone in your house with a toaster? Has he? Eileen?
Or at least not yet, anyway.
