girlofpreyI like John Ross. I like that he makes sense as what a child of JR actually WOULD be like. And I like that they haven't made him rubbish, like, he's obviously not as good as JR, but he does manage to get some stuff done. Like, when the lawyer tried to blackmail him, he didn't just panic, he made promises, got a bit of money, and got his detective to start looking up dirt on him. I LOVE HIS DETECTIVE. Also. I hope theirs is a relationship that continues.
I massively don't trust JR to not be stringing John Ross along until he can screw him over properly. But who knows, maybe he is legit when it comes to his son. And I think it's a bit of a shame that they didn't give John Ross a meeting with his fake dad, but he seems to be sticking around, so maybe it's to come.
Randomly, that shaving scene was about as hot as it looked in the trailer last week. And the way John Ross sort of twitched a little bit but didn't really move when his dad started shaving him instead. dskfsdl.
I quite like Christopher's conwoman wife, mostly because I quite like that little scar on her eyebrows. And I started loving Bobby more, when he knew that JR was sneaking around behind his back and lying about it, and said that's just who JR is and he loves him anyway. I find Christopher really irritating though, aside from that scene where he told his dad he always felt like he had to earn his place in the family because he was adopted. Also, I'm not that convinced by his 'alternative' energy scheme. He's burning methane, and isn't methane the most dangerous greenhouse gas there is? And you have to use either catastrophic or potentially catastrophic methods to extract it. So far it doesn't sound better than oil. But maybe I just don't understand science.
"Bullets don't have any effect on me". I LOVE HIM.
And so far I don't have any especially strong feelings on Elena, although maybe that will change. Bobby's wife is pretty good though. And apparently Bobby's first wife JUST DISAPPEARED. Which is a bit weird. Maybe they're waiting to see if the actress will come back. And they didn't let Sue Ellen be in this episode at all. Which seems like a shame.
