Right so...are they just torturing Carla now? I haven't exactly been watching it, but I saw on Monday night when Leanne publically accused her of hitting Simon, and now tonight it turns out someone she thinks is her friend is actually conning her for Frank's benefit. I know some spoilers that this is probably leading up to, but still. I know this is meant to be a dramatic storyline, and obviously Alison King is a good actress and they want to get as much as they can out of her, but there comes a point when it's just ludricrous. And awful. I'm getting severe flashbacks to Ronnie Mitchell's, like, entire last few years on Eastenders. I won't go into details, I don't have the time, but she had a TERRIBLE LIFE, and it pretty much never stopped. She's in jail now. And it's really starting to seem like that's what they're doing with Carla.

I miss David. And Gary. And Tony. And Maria. I assume they're keeping to various corners of the streets that the cameras aren't watching, and having a whale of a time. Except for the part where Tony's dead. Although as long as he got to sort of be with Maria he'd probably be happy. Also I miss Becky, but at least she's supposedly having a great time with a great guy in the Maldives. Nigel Havers is quite nice though. And Dennis Tanner, some of the time. Maybe they and Norris and Rita can join forces and fight crime, and that can be the new soap. MAYBE THAT.
